Hey guys, don't think this has been discussed. A long time ago I purchased the Air Lift 1000 air bags with the LoadControler I system. It had the airbags with an air compressor that you could control the air pressure from the cab. Slick little unit for only about $100 or so. Now, my question is that can I take the air bags out (have a leak in one) and then install Monroe, Rancho, etc. air shocks in and us the onboard air compressor I have to control them? They seem to use the standard air hoses and connections, and the gauge goes up to 120psi, I think. I have had the airbags up to 35psi no problem (that's the limit of the bags), so I don't think the air compressor will have a problem with air pressure. I also have a standard air valve in line so I could always air them up even if the compressor died. So, oh wise and resourceful forum
, what do you say? Can it be done? Thanks for all your help!!
