So I'm looking for people that have had expierience with either. I have a 2000 tacoma, 3.4L v6. Opinions? disasters? positives?

i have a amsoil filter. no experience with k&n but i think when i bought it amsoil was the better choice through my very long research.

its foam, uses oil.

 

I'm using a K&N cone, no probs at all. Doesn't seem to let any dirt past (that I can visibly see) and seems to flow really well...Even driving on really dusty roads the filter will get nasty and dirty but inside will stay perfectly clean...just remember to clean it when its dirty and not over oil it (just make it red)
