The coils may be back to being OME 881 stiff? Only trying it will, tell. Your a good one to test it since you know the difference between the stockish 4Runner and the OME.

TRD Tundra coils are PROGRESSIVE, slightly longer, and slightly thicker/stiffer than the NON-TRD Tundra 2WD Coils. Oh well. I'm picking up a set anyway. Later this month, I'm adding a Warn M8000 and a S/C (both sitting in my garage) and w/ the added weight, the stiffer TRD coils should be fine. This should give me 1.5"-1.75" of coil lift, and I'll add a revtek top spacer to it for a full 2"-2.25" of lift. I'm now looking for some top spacers and longer studs if you know of any USED ones available. I'll be adding my 1" BL at the same time so I won't rub. Once this setup is on, I'll have the Tundra 4x2 Coils and a set of 2.5" Cornfeds up for sale if anyone else wants to try it and "see the light".

Those coils are NOT progressive. Take a good look at the Tacoma TRD, the Performance Products front coil and the OME 891 rear coil, all of those are progressive.
That Tundra TRD coil is not. Not saying it will not work at all, with spacers you want non-progressive coils.
So these will be fine, but I still think the Sequoia coils will be better.

I'm currently the high bidder and have been negotiating a "buy-it-now" price w/ the seller over the course of the day. I know there are no guarantees, and you're free to do what you want, but I would appreciate some respect from YT members and leave it alone for the time being. If I pass on them, then I'll post it here. There's no sense in getting into a bidding war with a fellow yotatech-er. If I get them, then my 2wd Coils and Cornfed Spacers will be up for grabs.

Nevermind. They're mine. He just got back with me. I'll be putting them on the weekend of the 18th. After that, the 2x4 Tundra Coils and 2.5" Cornfeds will be up for grabs as long as these aren't too stiff. I doubt they will be, cause by then I'll have a SC and winch installed as well.

W00t, I'm finally home...
If anyone is taking measurements, I need ID and OD of the top of the spring. If you (Steve, anyone) is in AZ and has springs, I will come measure them. I can also have the rate and load measured on a high tech machine if we can figure out the loaded length. Other stuff be happenin'.... One aftermarket Tundra spring is fairly larger on the top of the conical spring than 4Runner / Taco springs (PP.)

I have Tundra Coils on my truck now and have had them on for quite some time, so it's obvious they fit. They may be about 1/4" larger turn diameter, but no biggie there. The top plate will NOT fit on a 4runner or Taco cause the spacing on the three studs is in a slightly larger diameter. The coils and the struts are swappable - the TOP PLATES or CORNFED SPACERS are NOT swappable.

Update from me...
I put in a 3" Revtek kit with OME shocks and it gave me a full 3.5" of lift up front and the CV's vibrated pretty badly starting at about 55-60mph. I took out the topout spacer and that dropped it to 3" and the vibes decreased to a tolerable level, but were still there.
Lars pointed out to me that since the OME shocks have a removable lower coil spring seat, I could make a simple spacer out of tubing and put it under the spring instead of on top, so I did that.
Now what I have up front is just OME shocks with a 7/8" thick spacer under the lower coil seat (everything else stock). This put me right at 2.5" and my vibes are gone (I left the diff drop in too). Sooo.... this is a great way to get some CHEAP lift.
I also found that the OME shocks give the max droop possible with stock upper arms. On one side the knuckle is touching the coil at full droop and on the other side it's nearly touching. Soooo.... I don't think you can get max travel (droop) out of a Frankenstrut unless you're running aftermarket upper arms.
And FWIW, in the rear I put in OME shocks and 890 coils and got ~2-3/8" of lift.

Keep in mind I run 35's with 2" of front lift. Actually I think it's closer to 1 7/8" with a 1" BL.
It will flex way better if you split the load.
