thanks for the supplied info.

Yep -I am already fond of those dudes over at TRDparts4u (for me for me)

I am leaning towards just ordering springs at this time and trying out my Bilsteins (less than 2 years old) in combination. IF my ride is stiff or too rough or too soft or whatever then I would likely change out shocks later.

Comments? suggestions?

cxrazy I apologize for messing with your thread.

I am going to post up my own summary of my Old Man Emu research and likely get flamed and told to "search"

I've loaded the 906s up with 700# of cement and it leveled the rig out even with the 880s --- it was pretty scary ass-heavy driving, but the springs took it without any problem.

FIW - the 906s ride pretty sweet - no complaints after ~3 years --- the 880s - i wish i would have gone with the tundra coils up front - the 880s still feel a bit sloppy.

If anyoone is interested - I have a SS braided rear line left over from my 91 that came with the downy spirngs i put on - the brake line was (and still) never needed. I think it should work on the 3rd gens - $25 dropped to drop it in an envelope (or a case of beer if you're local) if anyone is interested --- its just been sitting on the shelf. PM for pics.

Jim

thanks jimbob that is exactly the type of feedback I am looking for.

I do think the 906s will work for the rear springs for me, I want a little rake when unloaded and to squat down when loaded.

Leaning towards 882s for the fronts as I have an ARB bumper now and a winch is always just a few paychecks away....

Congrats on the ARB, I am leaning towards Shrockworks myself but thats in the future. But if you already have an aftermarket bumper and the winch, I would go with the 882 myself for added support. The important thing is please please please take some before and after pics of the whole setup, that would be sweet. Thanks.
