?? about front bumper/spoiler; JASON B!?

I have a 97 Limited and wanted to buy the Performance Products spoiler linked here,

PP spoiler,

but PP says it wont fit a Limited??
The guy at PP couldnt tell me why it wont fit, but he thinks its a different bumper for the SR5 and Limited and this spoiler wont match up on a Limited.
The dealer says there is a different part # for the SR5 and Limited front bumper, but also couldnt tell me what the difference is.
Can anyone confirm or deny if the SR5 vs Limited has a different front bumper? If so whats the diff ?
I know Jason B has this spoiler and he has a Limited, anyone have any ideas ??

These guys are complete idiots. They've been saying this for years and still haven't corrected it or their catalog "Only fits sr5's". I told them it fits sr5 AND limiteds on the phone a bunch of times.

It will fit your limited. The only extra thing you will need to do it drill two small holes on the side of the new spoiler so the small front flares can attach to the spoiler. The rest of the spoiler is pre-drilled. This will take about about 20 seconds to do.

I hope you enjoy your new look. You WILL have to buy the hella lights for it. They are unique to fit that unit with special brackets fabbed.

I'd also recommend a rock guard coating before it's painted. If you don't do this, you front spoiler will be severly chipped in a few years.

ok so allow me to take this one step further Jason. On your website you show pictures of a rig modelling your clear corners and bumper lenses for the 2nd Gen runners. On that silver runner there is a similar looking front spoiler to the one discussed here for the 3rd gens. Three questions,

1) where can I find that?
2) are they available with fog light holes?
3) will it work with a brush guard?

I'll take your professional opinion on question 3.

Thanks for letting me be a pain in the A$$.

1) Is this the rig?

I think that's a stock valance that is painted to match.

2) Yes, here is something similiar with fog holes.

can be found here: http://performanceproducts.com/Produ...producttype=20

3) Depends on the guard. You may have to notch the spoiler a little for it to fit.

Just don't go this route:

Yes, those are spinners...

Geez, of course it was under the accessories/exterior section. My powers of observation need some polishing. Thanks for the help Jason. Oh and not to worry, you won't see those spinners on my rig. Actually if you look closely at the before picture that you posted the stock valance doesn't have the forward curving bottom lip like the "after" one with the lights and also the one on your website. I noticed that right off when I was browsing for clear corners and bumper lenses. I'll probably be pickin up some of those down the line.

Thanks Again.
