I am wondering if a 99-01 5 spoke rim, will fit on a 96 4runner? I really like the 5 star pattern better then the previous years 3 spoke design, anyone know if they are compatible? Are the lugs the same design too, do they also work interchangeable?

They are completely interchangable. Hopefully you have 16 inch tires now so you don't have to incur more expense.

I will have to start looking for a set of rims, and yes I currently have 16" gooyear MTR.
