My dad just bought my mom a 99 Limited 2wd and the radio is acting up. it is stuck on FM and no buttom works except the volume and on-off knob.

he bought it knowing full well that this is an issue. (it has 227k on it)

is there anyhtign I can look for before we take it apart and find a replacement? it has the double din single cd/tape player.

Just replace it - it is easy as pie! Just remember, it probably has a stock amp located just downstream of the radio that you can remove prior to wiring the new radio in. I used a harness adapter from Crutchfield to make the new connection.
