I'm still working on my interior conversion from oak to a gray/dark charcoal color. I was wondering if theres any difference between the seats in the 99 and 01 front seats because I remember reading some people didn't like the seats in the 2001 4runners vs the earlier years. I was wondering what everyone has to say about this topic. Are they less comfortable or about the same? Any other opinions?

I can't comment on a '99 vs. '01 comparison, but I've never liked the seats in my '01 all that much. The lower back support just isn't very good, IMO.
