Can you put the electronic heating/ac control from a 99 4Runner into a 97 4Runner? I am in the process of updating/rebuilding the interior of my 4Runner.

If you are referring to the digital climate control found in the limited models then your answer is no. However if you can find one you could sell it to someone who has a failing electronic control unit...i.e. me.

 

oh well, guess I'll stick with the ol' turnie knobs.

haha...theres one for sale in the market place and a few on ebay i've had my eye on.

Analog controls is the reason why I bought the 4Runner.
Digital controls are the biggest pain too use (not to mention unreliable across many makes and models).
