99 4runner Fault Code Coolant Temp
My 4runner is throwing codes PO125 and PO171. PO125 says that the coolant temperature is insufficient for the engine management system to go into closed loop mode. And PO171 says bank 1 is lean. My gas mileage is about 10 mpg in mixed driving.I know that the coolant temperature is normal because it’s winter in Wisconsin and I have great heat, and the gauge in instrument cluster seems to be working, or at least I think it is. I am going to post up a picture so you all can tell me if it looks normal. My OBDII scan tool is also Indicating that the coolant temperature is at 91° C (194°F). Is there more than one temperature sensor possibly? If I’m running an open loop mode as the diagnosis indicates that would pretty much explain my horrible fuel mileage. What do you all think?

My diagnostic tool also indicates that the intake air temperature is at 75° F. That’s interesting because it’s about 27° F outside as I am taking the reading. Does this have something to do with the under hood air temperature Being warmer than the outdoor air?
