hey everyone. new to this forum. just bought my runner last month with 194,000km on it.

im trying to add on a few things to the truck. first off is when i first got the truck i had found a key fob in the center consol. i tried looking for the apsr unit/module(what i believe is what is responsible for the remote locking) but could not find it (not sure if its supposed to be under the drivers seat, pass seat, or in the dash).
any ideas where it is supposed to be in the 1999 4runner sr5?
i ended up getting a apsr from a wreck for free just in case i dont have one.

second of all, if i do not have one, should the wiring still be present?
