Well I have been lurking for a while so I might as well show you guys my black sled:

She is a: 1998 Limited w/ Locker and has 150k


I put on a 99 suspension , thoes coils will be flying off soon hopefully and a 3inch toyotec lift is up next.

Then I scored a sport hood from a junk yard for 250 bucks and it was BLACK!


After that came some 4300k HIDs


Currently Iam running some Taco wheels painted gun metal.



Now my latest mod was De-golding it. I dont have very many pics but this is what I have done:

Heated up the side emblems and took thoes, took all the rear emblems off except the 4runner and took the grill off and painted the T logo.

Many people have used different paint but I thought the krylon fusion black paint worked extremely well! I just ruffed them up and shot them with some paint. Here is a pic of the front. Sorry about the quality!



Next up is some clear bumper lights and black headlights which are on the way!

Also tell me what you guys think of a black 99 grill on it. Do you think it would look good or goofy with the chrome bumper.

 

Where can i get some of this "GUN MENTAL" colour?

I take it street rig only?

 

Damn that's one hell of a deal for that sport hood, and it was already black. Lucky.. haha.

 

Well since I live in nebraska there is no legal place to take it off road. So yes currently it is a street rig. The gunmetal color is "duplicolor wheel paint"

 

I think he was more making a joke that you said meNtal instead of metal

But it does look good though
