96 taco bed removal

how difficult would doing this be. i assume its just 6 bolts or so on the frame, but is much else connected?

i feel like beefing up my frame and getting rid of rust.

its not that hard take out all the bed bolts and disconnect the wireing for the taillights and the 2 screws for the gas filler tube i think thats it

ok thanks. im going to strengthen my frame some as well as paint with some rust stopping paint.

ok i know, dead thread....but im gonna be doing the same thing shortly and need some advice

difficulty?
time?
tools?
etc?

and if anyone has some directions or pictures with directions that would be great also...
