96 runner factory wheel well gap

I have tried searching, found nothing. Maybe there is a tread I'm missing, but I was curious, what is the distance (gap) between the top of the tire, and the fender on factory 3rd gen 4 runners.

I have a stock 96, and when my truck sits next to a white 3rd gen in my aparent complex, mine looks like it has a much bigger gap front and back. I plan to lift it soon, so I'm curious how it should be from the factory. Basically I want to assure I don't have some small lift from the previous owner.

Help?

96 4Runner 4 wheel drive w/p265/70r16 tires: measured at around 200,000 miles w/butt sag. Empty cargo and no spare when measured.

Yes, on post 11 the pictures are (in order):
Stock front before lift, 35"
After Sonoran Steel 1.2 lift, 39.5

Stock rear before lift 34.5"
After Sonoran Steel 1.2 lift, 39.5

So I should be looking for around 38 inches if I have factory suspension? Sorry for the redundant posts, I'm new to vehicles that aren't fast, and low to the ground.

So I went an measured, 34.5 front and back. Seems stock compared to your numbers. I can see that other runner out side, the back is sagging big time..

Depends on tire size and trim package.

SR5 with no flares and 15s going to be and look different than Limited with 16s.

What the Wabbit said and a VERY good point. Mine's an SR5 4wd 96 with p265/70r16.
My SR5 99 4wd w/16" wheels came stock with taller springs than my 96. The 02 is pretty short IIRC. In other words, different options/years offer different heights. That's why I gave the info on the truck and pics so you could see what I was measuring. Based on what you're saying I agree, you're stock.

I just wanted to make sure. Because the white runner out side looks like its dragging it's ass on the ground. My truck rIdes really well, perhaps it just has new shocks? Either way old man emu is going in. Thanks guys
