95 and up

I'm lookin into buying an x-cab Toyota. Upgrade from a 91. What year is the best in the Tacoma class? I like the 95's since its still the old model. Is there a big difference between a v6 and 4 cyl. in power? Gas mileage? Thanks.

Rig Runner I can't help you much with your question but I wanted to say hello since I am from close by you. I originally grew up in Pierce, ID up the river from Lewiston/Clarkston but my dad lives in Clarkston now and that's usually where I go when I come stateside. Go Cougs!

I would choose the 3.4 over any toyota truck/tacoma engine to date.

Typically, any car or truck of any specific generation, is at its best the final year of the production of that model.
