94 pick-up head gasket

Hey guys I just got my 94 pick up outta the shop, new headgasket,timing set,waterpump, tune up cost me 1300 did I get ripped the guy seemed pretty decent I would have done it myself but its like 5 degrees outside thanks for any input.

Hard to say. As replacing the HG is a big job, the water pump not so much but still a job in itself. Parts and labour I'd say you got off pretty decent. IMO

I did mine a year and a half ago and was out the door at 3200.00 I'd say you did very well, each head charges out at around 15 hours r&r'ed

When I took my pickup to a shop to have it checked out and they said it was headgasket they quoted me $1500 just for that...so I'd say you did well for yourself.

Nope, that sounds right from what I have been quioted for that work.
