94 4runner engine upgrade?
ive got a 94 4 runner with a tiny little 4 cyl.
rebuilt the head 4-5 months ago, she blew up again
im about to put a new engine in it.
does anyone have any info on engine upgrades for this vehicle
can you put the newer 4 cyl in or the V6, relatively easily
does the tranny match?, mines a manual.

You may want to price out a Supra engine swap also.
If you are rebuilding the 22RE, you may want to get the head port and polished and possibly milled while it's out. Sounds like you could use a metal head gasket too.
LC engineering has some crazy motors...but I dont know about their service.
