5vz to 3rz guage swap

i have a 5vz 3rd gen 4runner rainbow optitron combination cluster but the tachometer wont work on my 3rz 2000 why?

Is there any adjustment you need to make on your tach going from a 6 cylinder to a 4 cylinder??

If it can`t be adjusted you might be able to figure out what needs to be done to make it work.

Buy one made for a 4 cylinder!!
