Muscle cars of old should'nt have come in auto. Anyone remember the original gone in 60 (or even the new one that was one hot GT500) or the Bullitt Mustang (You know that car was sold for a mere 2500 after the shooting of the movie). It's like why get a sports car in auto. I've got to be one of the most stubborn people on this subject.

So is the Hilux Surf still available in manual?

My dad's 72 Chevelle with a 350 and shift kit in his auto scrubs rubber accelerating through all three gears. If you had a manual in there, the tires would be losing grip a whole lot more. But agreed, sports cars are not sports cars without the manual tranny.

Remember I said I sent 2 emails to different parts of the company. I got duplicate replies. I also sent them a link to this posting. They replied that they don't take outside suggestions.

Well...from anyone other than soccer moms.

They also sent me a survey on how their response to my problem was. I let them know I sent it to 2 different parts of the company and got the same reply from both. We need to let them know there are some of us that aren't soccer moms.

Unless you guys are keeping a secret from me
