yea most people use simple green... just be careful with the electronics.

i covered mine up and did a light wash down... i was too afraid to do much more. they did a much better job than me!

Looks sweet. Yea, last year when I used clay on my runner for the first time I had a guy ask me if I just bought my truck too. Made it all worth while. I have had people ask me what year my turck was thinking it's like a 2000 and get shocked as hell when I tell them 1991..

I've gotten that a few times from people that don't know vehicles too well. Nothing beats that look on their face when you tell them it's a '91!



I have to learn how to properly detail the paint. It still doesn't shine like I want it to.

yea, the spray on wax as you dry stuff is actually amazing. you use so little (couple of squirts per body panel) but it really does work.

so the order is car clay-polish-glaze-wax/cleaner wax? sounds like a lotta work. Clay-wax is what i usually do...I'll have to find out if that glaze stuff works myself

could certainly be a lot less work, but when you pay $100 for a professional ext. detail, you expect to get the 3 or 4-package punch
