anyone know what the weight of a 98 4runner is? 4x4, v6, sr5...

 

If I remember right mine was 2200kgs, with me, my wife, our two huskies, and a bunch of crap in the back, and more than half a tank of gas. And my truck is the same as yours drivetrain-wise.

 

It's really funny you ask this... I am in the military and I just had my 4runner weighed yesterday as part of moving to a new base. With an ARB bumper, 33's and a wilderness roof rack a 4runner weighs 4280lbs... that's with a half a tank of gas as well.

Close enough?

 

for us yanks, thats 4850 pounds, about.

im thinking around the 4000 pound range, dry and stock.

 

mines about 4350 with a little under half a tank
