4runner tire mileage

for all you 3rd gen 4runner owners out there, im jus wondering how many miles YOU got out of your tires with "normal daily driving". im particularyly interested in swampers (mostly ssr, lbt and boggers), and/or procomps.
any other info is welcome also
thanks

3rd gen w/ a 3" lift and 265/75/16 tires, I normally get about 15 mpg. I drive mostly on the steets but if I do a ton of freeway mileage, I can get about 17 mpg. My truck has 95,000 miles, has new shocks and is aligned, and has new plugs. I haven't checked the 02 sensor like others have stated can improve mpg. I also have a K&N FIPK but could not tell a huge savings on mpg. Hopefully, this helps. I have also not had my odometer checked...

Guys! I think he was asking how many miles you got from your tires before you had to replace them, not how many MPG you are getting from your tires.
That's the way I read it but I've been wrong before,Lol.
Can't speak for the tires you mentioned but if you want really great all around mud, snow , rocks, dirt, ice, rain and agressive looking tires then you may want to do a little research on the "Wild Country" tires. Mike

My OEM Bridgestones (whatever model) were replaced at 27,000 and were about shot. I put REVO's on and got almost 40k out of them. I have about 20k on a set of Firestone Destination LE's which still look pretty good. My previous 2nd gen seemed to get about 60k, but I was putting Michelin's and other hard rubber on that vehicle, so I got better life but worse wet/snow handling.

yea...wow haha i was surprised when i saw this thread back up. i was indeed wondering about tire life. i got a 97 sr5 with 275/70 Revo's on it now. ive put about 25K on em, but theyre supposed to have a 50K warranty so ill get a prorated amount of credit at the dealer for em whenever i change them. i was thinking of getting swampers before, but by reading reviews n stuff i think maybe dueler m/t's or destination m/t's would suit me well....so heres a new question: how many miles have you gotten from your mud terrain tire?

265/75 Revos. Have 50K miles on them in exactly 2 years. Buying new ones in about a month before the 300+ inches of snow starts lol. Only rotated them 5 times and never balanced after putting them on. Mighty fine tires but $$$$$.

I consider them a decent deal since I can get them through Discount with their warranties for just over $600 while a comprable set of BFG A/Ts will cost closer to $800 and that is getting kinda pricey.
