What size tires are you looking to put under it?

That's a lot of lift for stock IFS. You'd probably be better off with an SAS if you plan to run 35's and go offroad. If not you'll be snapping CV shafts especially if the front will have a locker. I tear up CV boots already and my wheel to fender measurement is 14 5/8".

like victor said..if you are gonna go with that much lift(4+3= 7inches of lift), i would get an SAS.

tootally disagree. the CVs will be at the same angle they were before the lift. they would only be under the extra stress of the heavier tires, which is not too bad with 35s. and having a locker would help save the CVs IMO, most (more like only) guys who bust CVs are open in the front.

i say get the 4" PC kit and a 2" body lift and run some 35s if you want. or 33s.

but drop in some some lower gears, either 4.88 or 5.29, that will get you some power back.

if you get a PC kit and PA body lift, should come with everything you need.

cv's are the only thing your need to worry about as long as you don't block the rear. i would use some combo of AAL's and some shackles to raise the rear of your truck. if you end up using blocks for money issues make sure you get/make a support for your axle to help against axle wrap.

as for fitting 35's i'd say 4in sus lift then just get out the saw and trim a little where needed for the tires, it will keep your center of gravity much lower and help tons on the trail.

if by aal's you are reffering to add-a-leafs or whatever you call them, this isnt an option of him. he has a 93 runner with coil springs in the back.
