3rd Gen Trailer wire harness???
Hey gang. I have installed a wire harness for a trailer a while back. The way it is installed you have to feed the wire out the back from the inside to the trailer. I know there has to be a way to have the harness on the outside without drilling a big hole. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks all!

Hey Greg I just took the dremel tool and notched a V in the bottom of the bed under the weather stripping, then feed the 4 way plug down between the body and the bumper and out by the spare tire. Hope this helps,
If you need some pics I can get some later for you....Doug

Well when I had a problem back last year I traced my wire up from the hitch which was all factory wired they took the wire up by the top right corner if your behind it there were factory holes in place already, What you might want to do is remove the sill plate (plastic piece across the rear) in the rear pull back the carpet a little and if I recall correctly there like a chanel were the tail light wireing is and you should also see a plug or a point were you can run the wires down.
