Hey gang. I know there are a lot of posts on squeaks but this ones a bit different. When I drive for a while I notice a subtle squeak from under the hood. I can hear it especially during idling. Any ideas. Mahalos

 

Have you checked the belts? Look for glazing and cracks, even a little bit of it. That'll cause some noise...

 

Check PS fluid...mine was leaking and the squeak would come and go til I started checking fluids one day and it was a little low from a small hose leak...thus causing the pump to squeak a little
