3rd gen skid plates

I have finally created a gas tank skid plate for the 3rd gen 4Runner.
http://www.hunt4steve.com/Off-Road/9...m_ext_skid.htm
In the process I have also created a transfer case skid plate and transmission skid plate. I have yet to mount the transmission skid plate due to the bracing not being welded on. The gas tank skid plate is done and mounted, but still needs some paint. For those of you who are interested, I have a little bit of info on my site. I will have more, plus more pics later this week.

selling

I don't think I would be selling the skid plates, however I would take an order for the rear bumper. To make it worth my time, I would have to charge 600 clams for the bumper. Being that nobody makes these type of bumpers for the 3rd Gens, it would be a special order deal only. 600 bucks is not too bad a deal considering what one would be getting. My front bumper from ARB was around 600 bucks, and its not as strong as my own rear bumper creation. At any rate, this does take a considerable amount of time to make. So, selling the skid plates, I dunno, probably not, unless somebody could offer up some bucks for one.....

Very nice work. I like the gas tank skid, I didn't think about the foam strips, very good idea. Maybe we can talk armor sometime...

Give me some time and I'll have some better pics of the whole setup. When I do, it can give ya'll some info on how to build one.
