Im not crazy about the tires though, looks more like a mallrat with those street slicks, but ill take your word that they can walk up the rocks. (dont dare bring those out to my territory)

also seems like you had to dish out a lot cash to make everything right. i.e. steering/oil coolers and the spare tire rack.

however, the most kickass thing is byfar the spare tire mount. i have been craving one of those ever since i got my body lift. can you tell me how much you paid for it? (pm if you wish)

were your MTRs worn out, how many miles did you get out of them?

are you getting the same amount of suspension travel with those heavy/big tires? do they stuff all the way into the fenders?

no way will 35s ever successfully stuff into a 4Runner with LTD flares with this little lift.
Tires were affordable and seem to work just fine out west. Probably not the best mud tire in the world. Actually the Yoko MT's were cheaper but wear fast.

The PS cooler was 20 bucks, the oil cooler was 70. Kinda cheap I thought.

Randy Ellis re-welded the TJM ends, and yes they are PERFECT. He fixed a few things on my rear bumper completeing the transition from tire carrier to tire under the truck. He TIG welded the ground pinch weld shut. Finally he made and cut out the stock tire carrier. We also got 4 Randy Ellis design T-˟˟˟˟s. He billed me 8 hours of labor for everything.

I got around 25k from the MT/R's, 2 were brand new, 1 was 1/2 gone and 2 were worn. I traded them to the Master Tech @ Toy Specialists and he put all new belts on and flushed and refilled my power steering as well and installed the coolers.

Yes I can stuff and droop just as well as I could with the 285's.

Limited flares would indeed require a good ammount of cutting.

So when is your hillbilly family going to come back out here? Don't tell me in the summer when it SUCKS!

Steve with my current setup what would it take to slap on some 305/75R16 MT/R under my rig?

Also I`m curious what is the total cost in parts for those Frankenstruts? Do you do those on the side for others?

The problem with the 315/75/16 was the 12.5" width, with the 305/75/16 you'll face the same issues. You'll have the same amount of work to do to clear the 305 as the 315 I bet.

I can build you up a set of Franks, sure. Keep in mind they will be more expensive than OME 881 and the OME shock, there are more parts involved. I will also have shipping costs from 5-6 sources. So if I can build up a batch of them that would cost less.

Did you meen 305/70/16 ranther than 305/75/16

305/70 is a 33/12.50

I have never seen a 305/75

I am getting interco trxs mt 33/12.50/16 next.
I am hoping that the trxs will be like swapers and run 1 inche bigger than they are suposed to. so they will realy be 34/12.50

What do you guys think?

I believe the trxus are closer to the actual size listed. I've read somewhere where they don't run big.

You are not alone. I must be blind to because I missed it totaly. I checked national tire for a price and they are $40 higher a piece than the 33's.

Steve... have you done any trimming in the back? My 32/11.5-15s already rub in the back, so I would think 33s would be even worse. Or does the 1" BL make the difference?

My 285's rub on my rear bumper/flare, but as soon as I complee my rear bumper, I'm hoping to eliminate that. I would love to be able to run 35's on mine for the next set of tires, but let's see how things hold up for Steve. Not to mention the front end with his locker. Bigger tires probably mean more stress than even before with the locker.

No rubbing back there, the custom rear bumper created alot of extra room.

You know I'll let you drive the POS through the canyon. Just think of the orgasm you'll have turning on not one but 2 lockers. I'm not really sure you can handle the super low and the 2 levers, better bring your Mom to help you.

Seriously though, you can drive it, it would be hard to screw up at 252 to 1.

So Steve, are you saying that they don't rub on the front or top of the fender wells?
