3rd gen manual hubs
I just got my new Perf catelog today and I saw this kit for the 3rd gens to convert over to manual hubs.

I knew it could be done with some Tacoma parts, but has anyone seen this new kit?
Man, if I had a 3rd gen I'd be all over this kit.

I have been saving up for awile now, i cant wait to get the kit, no more worries about CVs. I here it can be done for like 600 if you use taco stuff, like aisin hudbs and stuff. But this kit is soo complete and perfect, that i will spend the extra money. I cant wait to get it

Interesting
Wow, I can't believe the price for that upgrade, $929!
I was lucky enough to pay $60 total for the set I bought (used junkyarddog.com) plus new paint. Too bad 3rd gens aren't as easy to convert.
I've had my 'runner for a few months, and when I first got it, I couldn't go up any hills at highway speeds in 5th gear without losing speed.
Now, I don't have to floor it to maintain 75 on the highway, and it'll even accelerate in 5th up a slight incline, with the A/C on.
