35" tires finally installed.

Ive had a set of 315/75/16 BFG KM2s sitting in my garage for about a month waiting for my 5th stock wheel to come in (for matching spare). I got one in, but it was a sandblasted type finish, and mine are apparently the "brilliant" finish, so it is taking a while. I had some time tonight, and with a slow leak in one of my 33's. I decided to just toss the 4 on that I have and run without a spare for a week. The front still needs a touch of trimming to fit under full stuff, but for street driving they are fine. The new bumpers and a hefty amount of cutting will allow 35's to fit with the Sonoran Steel 1.1 lift (I think thats what it is, maybe now known as the 1.2?).

I only have about 5 miles on them, but they are louder than my Pro Comp ATs (to be expected), but they are smooth going down the road.

I have plenty of wheeling pics on 33's, but none on the 35's...yet. I hope to change that soon.

Yes. They sound more like a mud tire than a street tire going down the road. It isnt unbearable, but it is noticable. The ATs were very quiet.

Custom. The front looks similar to the Shrockworks, but I dont think I have seen one like the rear.

Nice bumper and wheels, you should check out the clear Hella stone shields. You drive with them on and they protect from rocks. That would save you the time and need for taking off those light covers. Really nice, one of the best out there.

Its against the law here to have them uncovered. They are only supposed to be used "off-road".

Looking good.

Are you running wheel spacers? Body lift? I've been considering 35's, but don't have a body lift and don't plan on one.

No body lift. Ill never run one. I do have 1" spacers to get the wheels out from the a-arms. With the proper backspaced wheels, you can avoid using spacers, but I wanted to stay with the stock wheels.

I now have about 100 miles on these and Im still happy with them. At low speeds, under 15-20mph, you can pretty much feel each lug hit the pavement as it rotates, making a vibration through the truck. It isn't a bad vibration, but it is certainly noticeable. Once up to 30mph or so they smooth out and go down the road just fine. Im sure with a bit more mileage on them the vibration will diminish or completely disappear.

edit: meant to post this as an edit to my first post.

Those look 10000X better than the previous wheels!! Excellent choice! Did you have to use wheel spacers?
