found out some more info to clarify. the jeep was traveling along a trail above the spot he was laying at. the ground beneath the trail was being excavated and he didn't know. the ground gave way and the jeep and its 5 passengers fell 12 feet onto the sunroof and rolled over....so not as arrogant as i thought but still driver error.
luckily everyone is okay and it was extracted 3/4 of the way by a tow truck, the other 25% and the tow of shame home was done by me, i'll see if i can find someone with a picture, i'm sure any jeep forum would love seeing a fellow rig being towed by a toyo. from what i inspected the body, axles and frame are still good, engine is salvageable, body is totaled, i'm trying to convince him to go buggy with it but we'll see

Not any more they don't. Only way to get a TJM now is to find one used or possibly on ebay. As stated on Steve's site:
TJM has withdrawn from the North American Market. The products are currently not available in the US.

Here's a pic of my 35" Mud Grapplers, they are pretty quiet at low speeds, but sound like a prop plane at highway speeds. They rub a little bit on the control arm, but I will be adding a 1/4" spacer and doing some grinding on the control arm on Wednesday. These say they are a 35x12.50, but actually run a 35x13.4, so that's where the rubbing is coming from
