3.0L to 3.4L engine swap Q's

I have a few questions that have yet to be answered from searching(lots of it).

1.Can I use my 3.0L oil pan or do I need an oil pan from a T100 4x4 and if from a T100 which engine, 3.0L or 3.4L?
2. can I use the 3.4L wiring harness as a direct replacement of the 3.0L wiring harness? if not what would i have to modify on it?
3.How do I get the gauges to work? do they hook up the same on the 3.4L as on the 3.0L?
4.Do i need a bell housing from a R150F 3.4L donor truck or can I use my stock one?
5.What do I do for and exhaust?

most of these questions have controversy so that is why I am asking them.any other info is greatly appreciated since i will be doing this swap hopefully with in the next 2weeks.
Thanks for the help!!!

I can't answer any of those questions....sorry. But I do have the same rig as you ('91 v6) so I'll be watching this thread very closely. Please let us know how the swap turns out. BTW, are you doing this yourself or is there someone here in the Portland area helping you ?

1. The 3VZE oil pan and pickup should work.
2. Get 3.4 ECU and ORS harness.
3. Dunno
4. No
5. Get headers and then do custom crossover to stock cat position.

EDIT: Fixed

Oops - my bad on the harness. I forgot about the ORS unit. I'd still attempt to do my own with a 3.4 donor harness.

My understanding is that the 3.0 pan won't clear the front diff when on the 3.4. The link you posted is for a 2WD, so there may be other issues that he did not encounter.

Looks like I confused the bellhousing part with the 7MGE swap. I "thought" the guy who did this swap in Ontario had an issue.

The info on the guy in Ontario that did this swap in a 4WD 2G 4Runner would be more appropriate. Lemme look for it...

That is pretty much THE thread for a 3.4L swap.
If you have any questions, email Matt who did the swap in the thread.
I am sure he will answer all your questions.

Here's the link I was thinking of. It looks like his site is down, but you can see the thread at least. The guy is Dave Gio from BC. He has since done a SAS too.
