I want to re-build my 3.0L.
My 4Runner is all restored now except the engine.
I want to improve it over stock.
Definately headers and exhaust etc...
What do you suggest I do to get more performance out of my engine?

I haven't heard of anyone actually making too much power from the 3.0L even with tons of $$$ invested.

 

How difficult is a 3.4L swap, and how hard are they to find?
Is there no aftermarket companies that offer 3.0L build -up kits or effective performance parts?

 

You won't find much for the 3.0L.

Check with DOA Racing - I think they do cams and maybe heads for the 3.0L.

Other than that, you can do exhaust, headers, intake, and a couple other minor performance upgrades.
