2wd front wheel bearing replacement
I've taken my 2000 Toyota 4Runner (2wd) front wheel, brake and rotor off. There seems to be a metal dust cap on the front and back of the hub and spindle. Does anyone have pictures of the removal of those caps and/or the removal of these bearings from the assemblies.

It has been quite some time .
Since I worked on anything but a 4x4
But 2wd are all pretty much the same.
I am thinking the caliper is unbolted and tied out of the way
The dust cap on the outside is removed with a screw driver a small hammer might help as well to tap the cap off
Some people just use channel locks to work the dust cap off
If this is the first time some penetrating spray of your choice can`t hurt
Once The cap is off remove the nuts holding the bearing on being careful to keep track of how the hardware comes off.
Pull the rotor off the seal in the back of the rotor if removed is thrown away
at this time the inner bearing may be removed .
If your installing new bearings the races should also be replaced
Any bearings going back in need to be repacked in the correct way not doing so will most lucky cause the bearing to fail
If this is beyond your skill level at this time maybe some help is a good idea.
