Could those of you who run 32's on your 2nd gen runners w/o lift post pics if you have them, please? I'm still trying to decide if I want to get 31's or 32's, by sometime during this summer I should be able to get some new tires (BFG A/T KO 31x10.5 or 32x11.5).

This is Lukes' Runner He is running 32x11.5 BFG's. He now has the downey spacer kit and cranked Tbars but at the time of these pics he only had aftermarket springs on. I think he had some slight rubbing issues in the front but that was it.

 

I love the 32's..

 

Just a word of advice, I had 32" MT/R's on my '94 and the front left tire rubbed on/demolished the corner of the running board. If you are planning to get that size, I would recommend taking the runners off or getting a lift. Other than that, no problems. (Sorry I've got only 2 pics of that truck and no scanner )

 

Check my website for pictures. I have the downey 1.5in coils in the rear, but nothing in the front. The front is at stock height.

 

I'm also diggin' the 32's. When these wear out, it will be on to 33's on 15x8's (with a 1" BL)

Thanks for all the pics guys, I just have one more question. For those of you who said you did not crank the front torsion bars, what is the stock height from the top of the rim to the bottom of the fender lip? If it's to much trouble don't worry about it, I am just curious. Thanks again

I met up with ringo234 today. he has bridgestone dueler a/t's 32x11.5r15 and he said they dont rub as far as he knows. if they do, its very little, and that was only in the back when going over a hard bump. no problems in the front. he also said mudders would have been a problem. also, he hasnt done downeys in the back, he still has the stock springs, saggin of course.

when you can purchase the springs, we should get together and put them on one day

the 32s looked AWESOME and his truck is bad ass. new paint job, super clean engine. bored out his engine too.

I'm mounting my 265/75r16's on Fri. That is a 32 inch tall tire also but about an inch narrower - I'll take some pics and let you know how it all fits.

14.5" on mine

 

I read 13.5 to 14.25" was stock. Mine was also at 14.5 before I cranked the t-bars to 14.75 to level the truck out. The back is still slightly higher but that is ok with me.

 

Hmm, mines about 14.0 or maybe a hair less.. *wonders if he'd need to crank the torsion bars to keep 32's from rubbing*

 

I had 32x10.50's on my 95 4runner. They were the BFG KO's. I would see if you can find those, as they fit a little better than the 32x11.50's. I bought mine at Sears

 

Well the MR/R's are on and man am I happy. Unbelievably the ride is much softer/smoother with these than my old Bridgestones. I set them up with 38 psi front and 40 psi rear like my old tires but judging from the soft ride I can add some more. Also - I've noticed the actual tread area is a little narrower than my old 31's.

I haven't noticed any power loss and I think the acceleration is actually a little nicer but that is all probably in my mind right now. The dealer had them set at 31 PSI and I could actually see the fuel gauge move with a couple short trips.
