22RTE 4Runner question
Hey all-
I've come across a nice looking 1st gen with the 22RTE (turbo) I've considered purchasing and turning into a dedicated trail rig. Here's my question:
How good is the engine for off-roading?
I ask this because all the turbo'd cars I've driven suffer from some amount of lag at lower RPM. I'm thinking this would be an impedence off-road because the engine revs between 1500-2500 rpm. Does the 22RTE suffer from any lag?
