i tried adjusting the TPS. but i get no reading what so ever. so does that mean its gone? :cry:
if so wheres the cheapest place u guys have gotten them?

I just adjusted mine the other day following these directions:

I would think you would at least get one reading on all five checks. Did you possibly have it off and put it on wrong? The say to remove them before cleaning the throttle body , because solvents easliy destroy them.

$78 sounds like a good price to me. I was qouted $100 from dealer, and 140 from Advance auto parts.

 

well i bought the truck with a blown engine. i had it rebuilt, but its not running right. after i posted i did the diagnostic, and i got code 31 throttle position sensor
kinda wierd that i never got a check engine light.
