I know that some people on the board have swapped the Air Flow Meter from an 82 Supra into their 22re pickups and claim that makes a difference in the high rpms and at wot.
My question is: Has anyone tried anything other than an afm from an 82? Are there any other models that offer the plug and play fit of an 82 or is that the ONLY one? My reason for asking is that there are lots of Supra AFMs on ebay right now but none for an 82. This one http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...spagename=WDVW
looks just like the one in my pickup (not sure about diameter b/c there is no size reference in the pic) but it is for a 86-92.

 

sorry man only an 82 will work. head over to cleicasupra or supracelica.com and put a post out in the wanted section. there should still be a few left.
