2004 Tacoma leaking issue

I have a 2004 tacoma, leaking somewhere up front inside the truck. Driver side floor carpet is always wet. Checked window washing fluid unit, seal around windshield, looked under hood, under the truck itself. I can't figure it out. But, this sprig that side window would not roll up or down just one day. I am so afraid it's going to short everything out. Any ideas?

One thing that happens on a 4Runner is that water comes down under the hood, on the driver's side, and then encounters the big bundle of wires going through the firewall, and follows that inside the car.

I had a leak from a hole drilled in the driver's firewall. Someone ran some wires and didnt use a grommet. I sealed things up with some silicone and my floors have been dry.
Also check that no one poked holes in the existing firewall grommet to run any wires.

Do you have a sunroof?
