2003 Highlander interior light timer

2003 Highlander interior light timer
My wife's ride, interior dome light seems to come on at will. Walk out into the garage hours after parking the car and the dome light is on. Open and close the door and it goes out like it should. Is there a timer or something that controls the dome light or just a relay. Thanks!
