If the backseat is on the same source as the front (ie: radio) you can control it with the remote... When you change the source (ie: front is using the radio, rear switches to CD) then the remote will only control the rear headphones.

I cannot get those lock instructions to work, they must only work on the Camary.

I just tried the instructions on the Geocities site and can't get them to work, either. It acts as if it takes, but it just doesn't....

I've been searching around, and there appears to be at least two RS3200 systems, possibly a third. Every programming manual I have found has been the exact one jharris2 posted. There is a Rav4 site that includes the same manual.

I think our only hope is getting the exact manual for our '03s or getting a photocopy from the dealer. like that could easily happen.

It's not so much that I want this feature turned on, I just want the satisfaction of knowing I can chaange it if I want/need to.

I found this site, but don't have time to look very deeply into it!

Unfortunately, that is one that I found. It does not explain the procedure to set this feature.

I tried this yesterday on a hill near the house and it didn't do a thing....any hints on getting the V6 transmission to do this?

I like the short-shift when cold feature on the 5A/T. Sometimes I get on the gas a little too early after cold start. The 5A/T will shift sooner than hot shifts to minimize wear, I think. I suppose it could be emission control related, but either way it's a nice reliability safety valve.

That small center console bin holds my cell phone and a heat-resistant power bar, Luna Peanut Butter and Jelly! Won't melt, but the chocolate ones taste better.
