Hi all! We currently own two 4runners: a '95, and a '99; and we are thinking of expanding our fleet to 3! We are looking at a 2002, but the top of the front bumper is peeling. Anyone with a limited ever experience this? Can that top plate be replaced?? Or do we need to repaint the front bumper? Thanks! I attached a pict of the front bumper - thanks again!

 

Just get rid of it and put a real winch bumper there. =D

 

The top part is seperate from the bumper. You could get it repainted, or try and find a used one the right colour. My 2001 had the same part, but it's not a Limited so mine was black, with a chrome bumper.

 

My paint there isn't peeling but its faded and looking bad in the exact same place.
