2000 toyota 4runner
i have a 3.4L with a new mass air flow and tps sensor and in the mornings it has a hard time wanting to idle ( idels very low sometimes shutting off) but once it runs for a minute or so its completely fine and you can drive it all day with ZERO issues. is there a way to adjust the electric choke by one of the throttle cables on the intake? thanks for all the help. ohhh by the way it has 316K miles and uses ZERO OIL!!!

I would start with the basics. Plugs, wires, some sea foam, etc.
do you have any check engine light codes? Have you cleaned the MAF? 300k+ is passed the service life of most exposure sensors, MAFs, O2s, TPS, etc. so if you can’t get them clean it may be worth it just to get some newer units instead of trying to make adjustments to functions that don’t normally get adjusted.

Fuel injection means no choke, electric or otherwise. The ECU should be supplying timing and fuel mix according to stored data, not sensors at start-up. So two possibilities: 1) It does not know it is in start up mode. Check this with a scanner making sure you are in OPEN LOOP at startup and that the Coolant temp sensor is making appropriate readings, or 2) The air/fuel mix called for by the ECU is not happening. The obvious suspect here is the Idle Air Control Valve. There are lots of posts on how to clean and check it if you search. If that doesn;t do it, I'd verify fuel pressure.
