I found this on ebay
Transponder Key
I wrote the guy and he said that all you have to do is go get it cut at someplace like walmart and he also give you instructions on how to reprogram. But I dunno....

I think the key cost is a bit high. I bought a new key for my 2000 and it was $41.50 a couple of years ago. I think they wanted 1/2 hour minimum labor charge to do the programming. The instructions for reprogramming are in the maintenance manual.
I don't think they're bs-ing you about about losing all the keys. You need at least one master key to be able to get the system to recognize a new one you want to add. I assume this is to make it harder for someone to steal the car, and just tell the system to recognize any old key. The owner's manual says the whole engine immobiliser system must be replaced if you lose all your master keys (the ones with black handles - not the grey one - if its like mine) and that is an expensive bit of electronics to replace.

When I got my truck it came with only one key and for them to cut & program a new one the stealership wanted to charge me $75 outright...no labor. After 3 trips to the lot I ended up talking to a manager and he waived the fee. If you can find the thing on ebay or by other means, then by all means do it. But the sound of $200 for a key...Unless that bad boy comes coated in platinum, can talk, be used as a communication device, and a universal remote for a aftermarket cd deck, I'd have to flatulate in his area and then leave.
Good Luck,
