2000 abs?

2000 abs?

just bought a 2000 tacoma apparently if its supposed to have abs it doesnt work. so is it supposed to have abs? or not? if so where would i start to look for the problem sense it doesnt work (new to the whole tacoma thing)

Are you sure it has ABS? In the 2000 model year ABS wasn't standard equipment - it was a factory option.

Well I'm not to sure it has power options but not trd so I don't no. How would I figure it out

Under the rear axle on either wheel look for the abs sensor . it's a magnetic sensor that is bolted in with a wire leading from it, I can get more descriptive if you can't find it,

be thankful it doesnt have it because mine is annoying. it goes off all the time n the snow, rain and just on dirt roads

Ok this is my first tacoma, had a few of the gens before. I'm not to worried bout it having it or not just more curious I guess. Ill take look at it tonight if I feel like it lol
