2000 4Runner rear shocks replacement

Hi all,
I have read and see videos on how to replace.
My thoughts for replacing is the 4Runner has almost 250K miles and I think the shocks are original.
I've noticed especially on the highway the rear is a bit floaty and bouncy.
Will replacing the rear shocks help this or will I need to do springs also....and am I wasting time and $ if I only replace the rear shocks?
Thanks for the thoughts

Unless you are dissatisfied with the ride height of your truck, replacing just the shocks should do it.
