2000 4runner coolant leak

I have seen a thousand threads. I had a mouse eat some wires, an injector and the ECT sensor. Now I notice that out of no where I have a coolant leak. The little bastard must have chewed a hose but I can't see where. Anyone else have experience? I am waiting for the new spark wire that the it ate as well then I will do a pressure test.

One caveat, I noticed the coolant leaking even with the engine ambient temps with the cap off. Car only has 83k miles.

Couldn't be a head gasket could it? Car was fine literally 2 hours before this dick ate it up.

So the leak was discovered. The rodent ate through the preheater circuit. Basically its in the throttle body and runs below it to the rear of the engine bay to the heater core lines. Its purpose is to heat the TB to bring emissions down by warming the air. A simple piece of 3/8's copper water line and it was fixed with 2 hose clamps. Luckily I was able to find it after I really looked at the motor and when I squeezed the upper rad hose I heard it pissing out.

If mickey eats your ˟˟˟˟ you can utilize 3/4" rad hose and after you yank the crap out of the old one off the TB you can replace.

Long term solution. Snake to get rid of the rat. Mongoose to get rid of the snake. Coyote to get rid of the mongoose.
