2000 4Runner ??
One of my friends has this 4Runner 5Speed 4x4 3.4
I went to look at it today from what I had been told I thought I was looking at a frame to repair about like a Tacoma
When talking about this I asked if maybe it might be for Sale I was told no they wanted to get it back on the road
Very divided family Toyota 4x4`s and Those J**p vehicles not really mechanical at all .
Turns out the spot on the frame is so small not really worth the time to drag it over an hour for the little amount of work.
So I have customers not far away who could handle the little job .
In discussing options I mentioned something about selling it again .
Me being me I was under the 4 Runner never even noticed what kind of tires .
No clue what color the interior is or the mileage
I go back in two weeks to look at it closer
I can only hope the AC works that might be the deciding factor
I need another Toyota like another wife

A well cared for 3.4 will go a long way and you already know about the fun and games of older trucks. Hope it works out for you whichever way you want it to.
There's always room for another Toyota....not so much another wife!

As the Saga continues !!
We are now back to repairing the vehicle .
Maybe some of the maintenance that may have never been done .
Original Timing belt at 205,000 miles and most likely the Lower Ball joints as well.
Sad the owners have no records of just what might have been done

205,000....not bad and a stick to boot, awesome. There's all sorts of things you'll get to do.
