well i want to do the manual hub conversion just because of all the bad things ive heard about the ADD's. so i may just do a 2'' coilover that i can adjust later and do a 2 and a half in AAL in the rear. and then when i get the conversion i will do the shackels in the rear and crank up the front to 3 inches.

I have a 2 1/2" spacer in the front and I have a diff drop kit installed. I now have a significant vibration in the front at around 25 mph and I can feel something similar at around 45 mph. It feels like the cv angle is off and feels like something is binding. I am wondering if I really needed the diff drop or can I take the drop kit off and do you think it would put too much angle on the cv's or do you think I would be alright. Can I do this w/o messing up the alignment.

So you want to take the diff. drop out because of the vibration you feel? Taking the diff drop out won't mess up the alignment but may cause damage to your CV's. Did you lift the rear and if so how much??

I do not believe the diff drop has any effect on the steering geometry. This only affects the angle of the half shafts and CV joints.

the differential is supported by 3 mounts. the diff drop kits only lower the front 2, thus the tilted diff and apparently "there is a bearing in there that gets all screwed up"

I guess we better stop driving around off road at 30 degree bank and tilt. The "bearing" could get REALLY screwed up. Funny but when I took my front diff apart, I didn't see the bearing that ORS could be refering to. Maybe mine doesn't have it.

So is it possible to add a drop for the 3rd mount location? in al lhonesty, I haven;t looked at it....yet. I imagine doing this would change the driveline angle a bit but it doesn't seem like it would be enough to make much difference.
