2 head gaskets in 3 months???

What's the deal guys, I've went through 2 head gaskets in the past few months. I have a 92 22re 4x4, it't got 33's with LC headers, efi replacement cam from LC, K&N filter, stock gears, etc... I don't run the truck hard, or extreme, just everyday commuter, why did I blow another gasket. The first one was a stock OME gasket, the next was a feldpro, what's next??? Thanks in advance

Godspeed,
Maverick

This is my guess:
The first one was old and the second one was crap and should have been OEM.

Was the head or block warped from the first one going?
You might want to take it to a machine shop to have them checked.

Were the block and head checked to make sure they were nice and flat and smooth? Reused head bolts? Bolts not torqued in proper sequence or to correct specs? Somebody getting western when they put the head on and damaged the gasket? Did they use some sort of form-a-gasket (big no-no)?
Head not retorqued after it "took a set"?
Eliminate the likely problems then get a good gasket and some ARP studs (make sure they are torqued to stud specs not bolt specs) and be done with it.
I've had two in a row let loose before and in my case it was due to the mechanic not knowing what he was doing

Ok, I'll check into some things, and get with the mechanic and ask him if he did all of the things you all suggested. I'm sure he'll blame the product and not his work, but who knows? Thanks for the imput, hopefully this will be the last time I'll have to do this. Thanks for everything
