I've heard the first generation supercharger produces more power but are noisier than the second generation one. Can you all assess the validity of this statement? I've heard the 1st gen one gives +100 HP and th 2nd gen. one gives +75 HP. Also, were there problems with the first generation S/C for them to come up with a new one or was it solely due to noise? With my 4Runner already being so loud, I don't think extra noise would matter to me so I would see no reason to just get the 1st gen. one and benefit from the extra horses. Perhaps I can be dissuaded though.

btt would like to know myself. My 1st gen does 7.5 lbs with the pulley that came on it ...I don't know about flow though..
